I have concepted and designed online and print advertising campaigns for hard-hitting clients such as HP, Netscape and Kmart. Working at several San Francisco ad agencies with different overall approaches and experimentation with different tactics has shown me what works and what doesn't.
Prior to becoming a Graphic Designer, I was a Media Planner at J. Walter Thompson. In this role I determined the best placement for print and online campaigns, and bought media space in all of the premier hi-tech publications and on all of the top websites for clients like Sun Microsystems, Sprint, Discover, E*Trade, and Goodyear. This experience gives me further perspective when designing marketing campaigns today. I not only think about the audience I am targeting, but also what mind-set they will be in when viewing the ad. This results in on-strategy messaging and ROI for my clients.
