Cost Estimate: The first thing you will see from me will be a cost estimate/proposal. Click here to see what I will need from you to be able to provide this. The cost estimate is presented as a window, with a low end and a high end, based on your marketing needs. I charge for the actual number of hours worked within the estimate window.
Discovery Phase: Once the estimate has been approved, and we have settled on a payment schedule, I start the discovery phase. This phase consists of a creative kick-off between us that results in my ability to put together a creative brief to use while concepting and designing.
Concepting: If you don't have a concept already I will help to create a few concept directions, and will present these as proposed copy, along with the basic idea for accompanying visuals. I allow for two rounds of revisions (if needed) to the concepts before sign-off
Design: At this point I start laying out the approved concept/s. I may present a couple of variations within each concept. I allow for two rounds of revisions (if needed) to the layout before final sign-off.
Production: When I have approval on the final ad, I will prep final files for delivery to the website/printer/publication, and I allow for a bit of time in the estimate for my communications with the website/printer/publication to make sure that the final product is as close to our expectations as possible.
