I acted as creative lead for the design of this pro-bono site
for the Golden Gate National Parks Association's restoration
of Crissy Field. Crissy Field is a magnificent area extending
from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Marina in San Francisco.
The area had been completely ruined when it was turned into
an airfield by the military, and so the GGNPA launched a major campaign in 2000 soliciting
donations and volunteers to help replant the native plants
and restore the wetlands that once were so beautiful there.
The main objectives of the site were to provide support to a
massive outdoor campaign running in San Francisco, solicit
volunteers and donations, and create excitement for the project by
showing the plans for what the area would look like when restored.
