Macula.org is the go-to online resource for everything having to do with macular disease. The great challenge with the design of this site is that it had to be viewable by an audience that is visually impaired, and in many different ways. The solution we found was to have the visitor able to change the palette on the fly, as well as the type size. I designed the site, and partnered with Alejandro Levins and his development team.
