Y*VOTE '04

Y*Vote '04

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Y*VOTE 04 was a series of live, interactive television specials about the 2004 presidential elections. This was the first interactive, televised forum where people 18 to 30 yrs. old could talk about the issues that matter most to them. Y*VOTE 04 was broadcast live on February 24 and 25,2004 on Link TV, a non-profit non-commercial channel which reaches 20 million US homes via satellite systems DIRECTV (channel 375) and the DISH Network (channel 9410). Internet users joined TV viewers by visiting a "two way TV" interface on affiliated websites, via a link to yvote04.org. They could watch the show on-line, and participate in the conversations using webcam, email and instant polling. I designed the site that showcased these shows.

The design is hip and meant to appeal to this young audience.
